IFC was founded in 1996 when Doug Wilner opened his office in Fairmont, Minnesota. Doug and his three employees grew the agency by selling primarily Medicare and individual health insurance. 

In 2006, Todd Villeneuve, Dave Martens, and Dave Thesing acquired Doug’s agency and expanded the product portfolio to include life, disability, long-term care, and annuities. This was the beginning of what is now the fastest growing insurance marketing organization (IMO) in the Midwest. 

Fast forward to 2023, and IFC National Marketing now has offices in Coon Rapids, Rochester, and Fairmont, Minnesota, as well as in Wisconsin. Our team has grown from a handful of employees in 2006 to 32 employees today– including one of our very first employees.

In January of 2021, IFC was acquired by Integrity Marketing Group (IMG), headquartered in Dallas, Texas. With the acquisition, Todd Villeneuve moved into the role of Managing Partner, Dave Martens moved into the role of External Relationships Manager, and Dave Thesing moved into the role of retired husband, father, and grandfather.
