Teaching agents to fish

My goal is to give people the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to thrive. I take that job seriously, because I have been exactly where you are as an independent agent or agency owner. I’ve worn many hats over more than 24 years in this industry; I have sold life, long-term care and annuities for other people, run my own agency, and managed a national team of corporate agents. I’ve been the agent making thousands of cold calls. I’ve been there with a grieving family to hand over a check, and I’ve been there when a family did not have adequate coverage and faced financial ruin. 

 

My job at IFC is to take that knowledge and that experience and pass it on to the agents I work with so they can build their businesses and provide protection that will help their clients weather life’s challenging moments and, hopefully, to achieve long-term dreams. 

 

Working with IFC, I get to share in all of those experiences, while also feeling confident that everyone at this company will go out of their way to lend a hand. I know that I can call anyone here and get the assistance I need. Even if I call the wrong person, they will take time to get the information I need. At the same time, IFC is very cognizant that employees have a life outside of work, and while there are opportunities to be as immersed as I’d like in the culture here, the company also recognizes that we have lives outside of work, which frees me to spend more time celebrating my children’s successes or working on my hobby farm. From the top down, everyone at IFC wants success for themselves and their co-workers, whether that’s at work or in our personal lives.
