IFC National Marketing is hitting the road this spring to help you prepare for Medicare and group benefits success.

Our inaugural Spring Into Action Health Roadshow will bring IFC experts and representatives from some of our top health carriers to four cities across Minnesota during the month of May. At each stop, the IFC team will share updates, strategies, and information, while carrier partners share the latest about their products and offerings. We will also simplify portions of the CMS Final Rule that was published in the Federal Register on April 12, 2023. Agents need to understand this rule, as it is effective for marketing plans for contract year 2024.  

“We recognize how busy agents are. That’s why we’re bringing this important information to a variety of communities, so agents have easy access to the expertise and resources IFC offers. For example, CMS rules can be a bit intimidating to interpret, so we will help agents who attend these events understand how the new rule impacts them, and the rationale behind the changes,” said Aaron Neidorf, executive vice president of sales for IFC National Marketing. “Now is the time to get up to speed on industry changes, health carriers, and products that individual and employer clients need – whether they are buying now or preparing for the upcoming open enrollment period.” 

The Twin Cities session will feature information about both Medicare and group products in a longer event. Agents are encouraged to attend both portions of the Twin Cities session, but you are welcome to attend only one portion, if you prefer.

The Health Roadshow schedule is as follows: 

• May 2, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rochester Country Club.
• May 4, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Mankato Golf Club.
• May 9, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Park Place, St. Louis Park.
• May 16, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Cloud Country Club.
