IFC with $20,000 donation check to NAILBA

IFC seeks nominees for NAILBA grants

by Todd Villeneuve

One of the things we talk about a lot at IFC is leading with a servant’s heart. Our commitment to community service is present in the quarterly donations we make to community causes; in the fact that 75% of IFC employees participate in some kind of philanthropic activity; and through our ongoing involvement in the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) Foundation’s annual grant program.

Let IFC help your organization with the NAILBA grant application process. NAILBA is now accepting grant applications for 2024, and we encourage well-run charitable and community organizations across Minnesota and the Midwest to apply. Our team at IFC will even help you with the application process. Take a minute to learn more about last year’s recipients and send us an email to begin the application process.

Leading with a servant’s heart. I am a proud member of the NAILBA Foundation board, and IFC has embraced the grant program, which since 2002 has distributed more than $3.5 million to more than 245 organizations that are working to plant the seeds of change in their communities. Last year, we supported three deserving Minnesota organizations — Action169, Kaitlyn’s Kloset, and Time on the Water — to help them receive a combined $40,000 in NAILBA grants. These significant awards will help support individuals who are survivors of sexual exploitation; provide food, clothing and other resources for families in need; and create memorable outdoor experiences for veterans and first responders.

We are proud to support these organizations and their missions, and I was honored to present these grants to the remarkable men and women whose passion is to make the world around them better, every day. I hope to see more organizations apply for funding this year. NAILBA and IFC National Marketing want to help you grow and achieve your community-based mission.
