Too few people truly believe that balance can be found between our work and personal lives. I’m here to tell you that, not only is it possible, but on most days, I can honestly say I feel that I have more autonomy over all areas of my life than ever before.  

As Vice President of Service Operations for IFC National Marketing, one of my responsibilities is to act as the “Integrator,” ensuring that we have the right people in the right seats. This is critical for our team, because when an individual is doing a job they’re good at and that they enjoy, they’re satisfied and engaged. When they’re satisfied and engaged, they’re more productive and collaborative with their teammates. And when we have that alignment across our entire IFC team, we perform at a consistently higher level for our contracted agents. 

Working for IFC allows me to find balance between work and the things that fuel me and bring me joy in my personal life. Things like providing color commentary for the Minnesota Gophers Women’s Gymnastics team. My daughter was a gymnast for the Gophers and the team and their parents became another arm of my family, and I’m honored to be able to support the team in this way. The flexibility that IFC provides also enables me to spend time golfing, visiting my son in Montana, and simply enjoying time with friends and family. Plus, I have the privilege of working with my wife Patti. What more could a guy ask for?
